Nicola and Tom's wedding was more than just a ceremony; it was a weekend-long event that perfectly captured the love and joy they share, not just with each other, but with their friends and family too. The event took place at Sconner Down, a woodland venue that seemed to have been crafted specifically for an adventurous and free spirited couple like Nicola and Tom.

On the morning of the wedding, there was a calm and relaxed atmosphere as everyone pitched in to help. Nicola and Tom’s loved ones had taken on all the tasks typically handled by vendors—decorating the venue, arranging flowers, and even handling the music. The sense of community was noticeable, with everyone working together to create something beautiful. The campsite at the venue buzzed with excitement and activity, as friends and family—many of whom were camping for the weekend—prepared for the big day.

One of the most memorable moments of the day was the "first look" that Nicola and Tom wanted to do in the forest. We chose a secluded spot where they stood on either side of a tree, reaching out to hold hands before finally stepping out to see each other in their wedding attire. The anticipation and emotion in that moment were unforgettable, and it was a privilege to capture.

The ceremony took place in a secluded part of the forest, where one of Tom and Nicola’s close friends acted as the celebrant. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect. It was a ceremony filled with heartfelt words and happy tears.

Afterwards, we stayed in the woodland for group photos. The celebration then continued with cocktails and garden games, followed by an open mic session. The performances by Nicola and Tom’s talented friends added a personal touch.

Dinner was served in a beautifully decorated marquee, with delicious Indian cuisine provided by Saltash Tandoori. The warm, aromatic dishes were a hit with everyone.

As the night progressed, the energy only grew. The dance floor was alive, and everyone danced like there was no tomorrow. One particularly fun moment was the ski shot—a fun and spirited way to toast the happy couple.
