Dorset has a grounded feel that makes weddings here naturally relaxed. Rolling countryside, soft evening light and historic villages create a beautiful sense of calm, with the added bonus of dramatic coastal scenery never too far away.
Weddings in Dorset can take so many forms, from peaceful rural celebrations surrounded by fields and woodland, to elegant days at venues like Brympton House, or slow, quiet moments along the coastline in one of Dorset’s small seaside towns.

Do you travel outside Dorset?
I photograph weddings across the South West, the UK, and further afield. If you take a look at my portfolio, it will show that I travel all over. Travel within 2.5 hours of TQ9 is included for full day weddings.

How far in advance should we book?
Do you charge travel fees for weddings in Dorset?
If your venue is further than 2.5 hours drive from TQ9, a small travel fee may be charged. Please get in touch for an accurate quote.
I often photograph at venues I've never been to before. When this is the case I will either visit the venue beforehand, or I will arrive extra early on the day. If you are doing a venue visit, feel free to let me know and if I'm available I'll be happy to come along.
- No strict time limits for full-day weddings. I’m there as long as you need me.
- Nature-inspired storytelling, with a focus on atmosphere, landscapes, and the small details that make your day feel like your day.
- Party Cameras included with my full-day package. This is a fun way for guests to capture behind-the-scenes moments you might otherwise miss.
How do get in touch to book or ask questions?
Most couples book 12–18 months ahead, especially for summer weekend dates. If you’re planning for 2026 or 2027, getting in touch early gives you the best chance of securing your date. I do sometimes have last minute availability.
