Keelan and Selena’s autumn wedding at Beaconside House was full of colour, atmosphere and emotion. As a Devon wedding photographer, Beaconside is always a pleasure to return to, and the combination of autumn leaves, dramatic skies and a relaxed outdoor ceremony made this day especially memorable.
I spent the morning moving between both Keelan and Selena as they got ready, capturing the build-up on each side. Hair by Pinned to Perfection and makeup by Isabella Grace created a polished but natural look for Selena, who wore a beautiful gown from Frilly Frocks paired with a veil by Gabrielle Elizabeth.
The florals by Anna at Howie and the Flowers were already in place around the grounds, adding warm autumn tones that tied the whole setting together. This also gave me a chance to photograph their incredible wedding cake by Lulu’s Primrose Bakery before the day got underway.

Despite an unsettled forecast, the weather held off long enough for an outdoor ceremony. The deep autumn colours, textured florals and leaves blowing across the lawn created a dramatic and atmospheric backdrop. The ceremony felt personal and heartfelt, with all the details working together beautifully.

Once the ceremony finished, we moved into confetti and group photos in front of Beaconside House before taking advantage of the dry weather for a couple shoot. Soft overcast light is perfect for portraits, and we explored the gardens for a relaxed set of images that suited the season.

From there, Keelan and Selena were free to enjoy the rest of the day. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés, followed by emotional speeches and dinner inside. The styling and decor, along with Anna’s florals, brought a warm autumn feel to the reception.

After dessert, the evening began with cake cutting, a lovely first dance and a lively party kicked off by Felonious Funk, who kept the dancefloor full well into the night. Stationery designed by Dale Stiling at Salt added a refined finishing touch across the venue.

A beautiful autumn celebration full of warmth, personality and everything that makes Beaconside House such a special place to get married. Thanks so much to Selena and Keelan for having me there on such a beautiful day.
