Despite experiencing heavy rain on my morning drive, the clouds parted just as I arrived at today’s venue – Caswell House – a beautiful countryside manor near Oxford. Despite being in the Cotswolds, the venue has a romantic Tuscan feel, with yellowy green plants and beautiful orange stonework.
For this wedding, I was delighted to work alongside my friend and colleague Esme Whiteside, although all the photos below are my own.
Kiren and Nathan’s wedding was full of energy and emotion from start to finish. Upon walking into the bridal suite, the girls were having their hair and make-up done, listening to BeyoncĂ©, having cheese and wine, and exchanging gifts. The first emotional moment of the day came when Kiren read a note from her Mum. I then walked over to see how the boys were doing – they were very relaxed, drinking beers and playing darts. Maybe a bit too relaxed!
The entire wedding party looked incredible, with Kiren and Nathan wearing white, and the rest of the party wearing black. This stark contrast was striking in the warm Tuscan themed setting. Kiren’s dress by The Dressing Rooms was stunning.
After the beautiful ceremony, we immediately went outside for some fun candid-style group photos with their closest friends and family. This was followed by a champagne tower and champagne reception!
We then snuck away from the guests for a quiet moment in the courtyard, taking advantage of the light that was being beautifully diffused by the clouds.
As everyone got seated, we snuck away once more for a quiet moment in the gardens. Kiren and Nathan decided they wanted to say their vows privately to one another, and it was a moment I feel privileged to have witnessed. It was clear how much this couple were made for each other. Upon our return, the dining room was decorated beautifully by Black Saucer Tablewear and The Luxe Collection and flowers by Edenflowers.
To kick off the party, Kiren and Nathan surprised their guests not only with a full outfit change from white to black, but they also entered the room serenaded by drummers on all sides. The crowd went wild! Kiren and Nathan had their first dance which was followed by a father-daughter dance. The music then shifted into full on party mode, led by DJ Mary P, and they all partied long into the night!
