Coral and Gareth’s wedding at Brickhouse Vineyard, Devon was a beautiful sunny day that felt easy and full of warmth and connection. Brickhouse Vineyard is one of the most photogenic modern wedding venues in Devon, and paired with a couple as lovely as these two, it made for a brilliant day to photograph.
I met Coral in the morning at their accommodation in Kenton Mill Farm, a peaceful spot nearby, perfect for wedding preparation photos. MUA by Georgina Lauren Beauty was fully underway when I arrived. Coral was surrounded by close friends and family, and the mood was relaxed and joyful. Before the car arrived, I took a few portraits of Coral, with the light pouring through the windows. Her Wed2B dress looked amazing in the soft morning light.
At Brickhouse Vineyard, the ceremony was held in the iconic thatched roundhouse, surrounded by vines and views over the surrounding Devon countryside. It was intimate, personal, and full of little smiles and glances between them.
After the ceremony, we moved straight into a lively confetti toss among the vineyard, followed by group photos in the courtyard. The sun was bright and the energy was high, it felt like a true summer celebration.
Once the formal photos were done, Coral and Gareth took a moment for themselves. We jumped back in the campervan and drove to the end of the vineyard drive for a quiet couples shoot. With her veil catching the light and the beautiful venue behind them, it was one of my favourite moments of the day.
Back at the venue, the afternoon flowed into cocktails, lawn games, and high spirits. Just before making their entrance, Coral and Gareth took a moment to play a few games on their own, giving us the chance to take some more creative shots using reflections from the glass doors.
They cut their cake early, taking advantage of the natural light pouring through the barn windows. The Simply Celebrate team styled the space beautifully, and the cake cutting felt light and relaxed. Catering was by the fantastic Astridges, with a pizza van from Brickhouse Pizza Horsebox serving up food later in the evening.
The speeches were a great mix of fun and emotion. After the wedding breakfast, we stepped out once more for a golden hour shoot, making the most of the vineyard, the courtyard, and the modern barn interiors.
We found a nearby field for a few final portraits, simple, quiet photos to end a day that had been full of life.
As the evening kicked off, guests filled the dancefloor thanks to Perfect Wedding DJ, with even more fun to be had in the Picture Blast photo booth.
