Aimee and Henry’s Elegant Brympton House Wedding

Aimee and Henry’s wedding was a true Bridgerton-style celebration in one of England’s most romantic wedding venues. With Brympton House often described as “the most beautiful house in England,” this day was an absolute privilege to photograph for two reasons. Firstly (and most importantly) it was an honour to document such a kind and joyful couple and their amazing families. Secondly, photographing a wedding at Brympton House on a beautiful summer’s day would be a career highlight for any photographer.

As fans of Bridgerton and Jane Austen, Aimee and Henry couldn’t have chosen a more fitting venue. Walking around the grounds alone in the morning, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe. Aimee and Henry were getting ready in separate rooms, so I hopped between the two, documenting the morning excitement.

Aimee and Henry chose to do a private couple’s photoshoot before their ceremony. Capturing these moments in the morning was not only practical, easing the pressure on a busy afternoon, but also created some special, quiet moments away from the packed timeline and busyness of their wedding day. We started in the gardens before moving up into the stunning bridal suite.

It was soon time for their ceremony on the iconic lawn between the lake and the house itself. Every angle produced stunning photos, with the lake, guests, church, and house all creating incredible backdrops. We did the confetti on the steps before moving into the shade of the chapel for some group photos.

From here, Aimee and Henry had the rest of the afternoon to enjoy time with their loved ones. This was a perfect opportunity to capture candid photos of guests at Brympton House. Once the dining room was set up, Aimee and Henry entered first to take in the beautifully decorated space. This also provided a lovely chance for a few portraits of just the two of them, taking advantage of the elegant interiors.

After dinner and speeches, the party moved over to The Stables. As everyone made their way across, the light softened — perfect for some golden hour photos at Brympton House. We started at The Stables before moving to the orchard and finishing back on the very lawn where they had exchanged their vows.

After the sun had set, it was time to head back to The Stables to dance the night away. Thank you, Aimee and Henry, for having me at such a beautiful and unforgettable wedding.
